We’re delighted that the Calm app has been kindly donated from Intertrust. The app will be available on all our FOJO iPads, for patients to access during their cancer treatments, providing a calm distraction for anyone of our patients who may be needle-phobic or experiencing anxiety.
Intertrust are also organising some mindfulness classes to support staff dealing with cancer patients. It’s been recognised that our jobs can be quite stressful at times and taking time to take care of their mental health ensures we are at our best to support patients through their cancer journey.
